MLJ Adoptions believes that every child deserves a loving and permanent family, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, number of siblings or health status. Our Special Needs Program connects harder to place children with loving adoptive families willing and able to meet the needs of these children in need of families.
Our waiting children photolisting includes children with mild to severe physical or mental needs, healthy children older than six and children who belong to a sibling group. Each of our program countries has children with special needs in need of families. The children range in ages from infancy to teens and include both boys and girls. Families must meet the eligibility requirements for the specific country program. The process of adopting children with special needs may be expedited. For each country there are different timelines. Families adopting a child with qualifying special needs may be eligible to apply for a MLJ Adoptions’ Special Needs Grant. Qualifying special needs depend on which country a family is adopting from.
Families seeking to adopt older children without known special needs from Ukraine or Mexico do not qualify for this potential grant. If you would like to be considered for this potential grant, please complete the Special Needs Grant Application and submit along with your contract.
